A new overseas property search facility has just been added to TheMoveChannel.com website, allowing users a fast way to search multiple databases for overseas property.
The facility, which went live on Friday, already has over 1500 properties and currently covers six countries, USA, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Cyprus and is soon to be extended to other locations, with a realistic target of 10,000 overseas properties online by the end of July.
The system is easy to use both for the property searcher and agents or developers who wish to feature international properties on the site.
House hunters can search for specific property types across a wide geographical area, or view all available properties in specific locations.
With basic and advanced search options, it should be easy to find matching properties - no matter what your requirements. Properties from all contributing agents are merged into a single database, and as the system is fully automated the very latest properties appear on the system as soon as they are available for sale.
Partners can include properties by bulk data dumps or live feeds and TheMoveChannel.com is looking for additional agents - based in the UK or overseas, who have properties that they wish to feature on the site.
Major international partners include well-known companies such as Escape2 and Imoinvest and Dan Johnson, director of the TheMoveChannel expects more companies to sign up in the near future.
Mr Johnson said: "We are not charging our partners subscription fees to participate. It's a pay-for-performance model - we monitor all the enquiries and only get paid when we successfully introduce a buyer to an agent or developer.”
“This means that it's a cost effective marketing vehicle for agents of any size, who really should not miss out on the opportunity to get involved. We get around a hundred thousand users per month looking for overseas property, leaving us ideally placed to develop a viable two way marketplace for buyers and sellers of overseas and specialist investment property."
